About the Scholarship

This scholarship is available for American Indian and Alaskan Native undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a full- or part-time study program leading to a degree in a health-related profession for one of the health career priority categories as determined by Indian Health Services. Students must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a member of a federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native village. Must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a program leading to a degree in an eligible health-related degree program for the current application cycle. A list of the eligible programs is available on the IHS website. Must be a U.S. citizen or national. Must enroll or plan to enroll as a full- or part-time student. Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent. Students may use this award for undergraduate or graduate study.
