About the Scholarship

This scholarship is available for Japanese nationals who are pursuing a Ph.D. in macroeconomics at a university located outside Japan. Students should not be older than 27 at time of application, and should obtain their Ph.D. by 34. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for international students. Must be a Japanese citizen. Must be studying macroeconomics at a university located outside of Japan. Must be entering the first, second, or third year of a Ph.D. program. Must plan to obtain his/her Ph.D. by age 34.
