About the Scholarship

This award is available for active members of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the children of active SAG members who are enrolled full time in an accredited college or university. Selection will be based on financial need, the student's essay response, and academic achievement. Application requirements for the John L. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. A standard scholarship applicant must be a member or the child of a member of the Screen Actors Guild and must be paid current to April. A transitional scholarship applicant must have ten years of vested pension credits OR lifetime earnings of $150,000 under Screen Actors Guild jurisdiction. Must be a U.S. citizen.
