About the Scholarship

Registered nurses who are residents of North Carolina and have been admitted to a bachelor's or master's degree program in nursing in North Carolina are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Application requirements for the Judy Knox Scholarship are:Recommendation letters (2) Application form Personal statement Unofficial Transcript Proof of acceptance

Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher in work already completed in the program in which currently enrolled or in previous nursing program if no course work has been taken in the current program. Must have been a resident of North Carolina for 12 or more months prior to application. Must attend an eligible program in North Carolina. Online programs are also acceptable, if the student is a North Carolina resident. Must pursue a baccalaureate or master's degree. Must be a registered nurse.
