About the Scholarship

Graduating high school seniors attending an Albuquerque, New Mexico high school are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, an ACT score of 23 or higher, and demonstrate strong community service experience. Priority will be given to students who plan a career in early childhoood development/teaching. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Must be a graduating high school senior to apply for this freshman year award. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Must have an ACT score of 23 or higher. Must plan to attend a public or nonprofit two- or four-year university full time. Must demonstrate strong community service experience. Must graduate from an Albuquerque metro area high school (includes Bernalillo, Sandoval, Valencia and Torrance counties).
