About the Scholarship

This scholarship is open to dependent children of slain officers from the Winston-Salem Police Department, Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, or N.C. State Highway Patrol (located in Forsyth County). Students may be high school seniors or already enrolled in postsecondary education; students who have already left home and are self-supporting are not eligible. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for international and U.S. students. Must be a graduating high school senior or already attending a postsecondary educational institution. Children who have already left home and are self-supporting will not be eligible to apply. Must be the dependent child of an eligible officer. Must have a parent who was a slain officer from the Winston-Salem Police Department, Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, or N.C.
