About the Scholarship

This award is available for gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender high school seniors who will be attending an accredited two- or four-year college or university. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident, and must be substantially involved in community service. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal immigrant. Must have been accepted for full-time study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university. Must self-identify as a gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender person. Must have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Weighted average can be used in this calculations. If the applicant’s high school does not use a numerical grading system, then a complete description of the measures of success and requirements for graduation is required Must be actively and substantially involved in community service. Must be a high school senior at the time of application. Must be attending an accredited college, university, or vocational school within the United States or Canada.
