About the Scholarship

This scholarship is available for Minnesota undergraduate students who are the children of a veteran who died on active duty or as a result of a service-connected condition. Students must attend a Minnesota college or university. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must have been a Minnesota resident for two years or more prior to his/her application for educational benefits, and his/her parent(s) or spouse must have been Minnesota resident(s) at the time of entering the service. Must attend a Minnesota public or private college or university. Please note: The school must be state-supported in order to receive the free tuition award. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Must be a high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate award. Must be a war orphan or spouse. Must be the child or spouse of a veteran who has died on active duty or as a result of a service-connected condition.
