Eligibility Criteria
Must be a U.S. citizen. This award is for U.S. students. Must demonstrate a sincere desire to pursue a career as a journalist in Spanish language television or radio. This applies to students who are planning careers in Spanish-language print, photo, broadcast or online media. Must be Hispanic. The student must be willing to author an essay in Spanish explaining why he/she is seeking a career as a Spanish-language broadcast journalist. Must be a high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate and graduate award.
