About the Scholarship

This scholarship is available for undergraduate and graduate students who graduated from a public or private high school in the districts of North Kona, South Kona, North Kohala or Ka'u. Students must major in marine sciences, biotechnology, health sciences or early childhood education, and must have a grade point average of 2.7 or higher. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must major in marine sciences, biotechnology, health sciences or early childhood education. Must have a record of community service. Must plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university as a full-time student (12 credits per semester for undergraduate; 9 credits per semester for graduate). Must demonstrate academic achievement with a grade point average of 2.7 or higher. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be a graduate of a public or private high school in the districts of North Kona, South Kona, North Kohala or Ka'u. Must be a resident of Hawaii.
