About the Scholarship
This scholarship is open to U.S. students who reside or attend school in Michigan or Georgia and are enrolled in a travel and tourism- or hospitality-related program of study. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Application requirements for the NTA New Horizons-Kathy LeTarte Scholarship are:Essays (2) Recommendation letters (2) Application form Official Transcript Resume Proof of Residency
Eligibility Criteria
This award is for U.S. students. Must be a permanent resident of OR a student in Michigan or Georgia. Must be entering his/her third year at an accredited four-year college or university in the upcoming fall semester/term and will have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours by the end of the current semester/term; OR be entering his/her fourth year at an accredited four-year college or university in the upcoming fall semester/term and will have completed a minimum of 90 credit hours by the end of the current semester/term. Must be enrolled in a travel and tourism- or hospitality-related program of study. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
