About the Scholarship

This scholarship is available for Houston-area residents who self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher and demonstrate unmet financial need. Application requirements for the Out for Education Scholarship are:Application form Essay Interview

Must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher. Must be between the ages of 17 and 25. Must demonstrate unmet financial need. Must reside in or attend college/university in Houston, TX.
