Eligibility Criteria
This award is for international and U.S. students. Must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Must not have completed more than 12 semester hours or one-third of the required semester hours towards MLS/MLIS/MIS prior to June 1 of the year awarded. Must be pursuing studies in library science with a specialty in new media. New media is defined as digital technology's transformation of business and culture during the past 25-plus years, clarifying the evolution of digital communications and human-computer interaction. Must attend a school with an ALA-accredited master's degree program.
