About the Scholarship

This award is available for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who live in or are planning to study in Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, or Wisconsin. Students must demonstrate leadership qualities that bridge the gap and break down barriers between LGBTQ and straight communities. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender identified OR have a parent who is gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. Must live or be planning to study in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin. Must enroll full or part time at a two- or four-year college, university or technical institution. Must demonstrate leadership qualities that bridge the gap and break down barriers between GLBT and straight communities. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be a high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate and/or graduate award.
