About the Scholarship

This award is available to Missouri undergraduate students. This program provides tuition assistance to certain public employees and their families if the employee is killed or permanently and totally disabled in the line of duty. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a resident of Missouri. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Must be one of the following types of eligible persons: a public safety officer permanently and totally disabled in the line of duty; a spouse of a public safety officer killed or permanently and totally disabled in the line of duty; OR a child (natural, adopted or stepchild) of a public safety officer or a Missouri Department of Transportation employee engaged in the construction or maintenance of the state's highways, roads, and bridges killed or permanently and totally disabled in the line of duty. Must plan to enroll full time (12 or more credit hours). Students with disabilities may be considered as full time when enrolled in six or more credit hours. Must not be pursuing a degree or certificate in theology or divinity. Must be a high school senior or current undergraduate student. Must plan to attend a participating Missouri institution.
