This award is available for research and teaching assistants employed in Texas who are not residents of Texas; assistants' spouses and children are also eligible. Eligible applicants must attend a public college or university in Texas. Application requirements for the Research Assistants and Teaching Assistants Waiver are:Proof of eligibility
Eligibility Criteria
This award is for U.S. students. Must be a teaching or research assistant (or the spouse or child of a teaching or research assistant) who is employed at least half time by a public institution of higher education in Texas in a position related to his/her degree program under the rules and regulations established by the employer institution. Must attend a Texas public college or institution. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
