Eligibility Criteria
Must be a high school graduate or older at time of application. Must attend a college or university in Kansas. Must be a resident of Kansas. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must enroll for six hours or more per semester. Preference will be given to full-time students. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Must pursue a career in nursing. The scholarship committee shall consider the following priorities in making scholarship recommendations to the board of trustees: registered nurses pursuing a bachelor's of science in nursing; graduate and postgraduate nursing study; formal nursing programs (advanced registered nurse practitioner, etc.); and students enrolled in undergraduate nursing programs. All the above should be focused on education, the student should have the intent to teach.
