About the Scholarship

The SHPE Austin Scholarship is provided for Hispanic students who are planning to major in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, mathematics). Applicants must be graduating seniors or undergraduate students at a high school or college in the Austin, Texas area. Eligible counties include Travis, Hays, and Williamson, TX. Eligibility Criteria

Must reside in and attend school in Travis, Hays, or Williamson counties in TX. Must be of Hispanic heritage. This award is for U.S. students. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Must be a high school senior or undergraduate student at the time of application.
