About the Scholarship

The Texas Safety Foundation L.C. Meyer HSE Scholarship is available for U.S. and international college juniors and graduate students who are pursuing a degree in occupational safety and health or a closely related field. The applicant must enroll full time and must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Preference is given to students residing in or attending a college in Texas. Eligibility Criteria

Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college or university. Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher for undergraduates, or 3.5 or higher for graduate students. Must have completed 60 undergraduate credit hours or more at time of application, but must not be graduating before May OR must be currently enrolled in graduate school. Must pursue a degree in occupational safety and health or a closely related field. Examples of a closely related field are industrial and environmental engineering, other science degrees, and possibly business. This award is for U.S. and international students.
