About the Scholarship

This scholarship is available for first-time-in-college students who are eligible for DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) or TPS (Temporary Protected Status). Students must demonstrate significant financial need, have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, and attend one of TheDream.US's partner colleges. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for international students. Must meet DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) or TPS (Temporary Protected Status) eligibility criteria and have applied for or received DACA or TPS approval. The student must have come to the United States before reaching his/her 16th birthday. Must either graduate from high school or earn his/her GED diploma by the end of the current academic year OR have already graduated or earned his/her GED. The student cannot have enrolled in an associate's or bachelor's degree program or have earned college credits (excluding credits earned while in a high school pre-college, dual enrollment program, advanced placement testing, or through the College Level Examination Program CLEP). Must have a cumulative high school grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent GED score). Must attend a TheDream.US partner institution. Please note: Students must be eligible for in-state tuition if seeking to attend a partner college that is a public institution.
