About the Scholarship

This scholarship is available to U.S. college juniors and seniors and graduate students who are accepted to the University of North Florida College of Education and Human Services. Students must pursue a degree in education with preference given to students pursuing a teaching career in an urban school, and must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher if undergraduate and 3.5 or higher if graduate. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must meet admissions requirements of the University of North Florida. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Must be accepted in the UNF College of Education and Human Services as a college junior or senior or graduate student. Must earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher as a junior or senior student, or a 3.5 or higher as a graduate student. Must pursue a degree in education with preference given to students pursuing a teaching career in an urban school. (Note: An urban school is defined as a school with a high percentage of students on free or reduced lunch programs, a high mobility and absentee rate, a high percentage of minority and immigrant students, and a high percentage of low socio-economic status students.) Must enroll full time (12 credit hours) each semester and earn at least 24 credits by the end of each academic year if an undergraduate student; OR enroll part time (6 credit hours) each semester and earn at least 12 credits by the end of each academic year if a graduate student.In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:Sign Up To View
