About the Scholarship

This award is available for U.S. citizens and legal residents who were born in India or have a parent/grandparent who was born in India. The applicant must be a current high school senior with a grade point average of 3.6 or higher, and his/her annual family income must be less than $75,000. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must have been born or have a parent born in the Republic of India. Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder. Must have a cumulative unadjusted grade point average of 3.6 or higher (on a 4.0 scale). Must have a 2013 'Family Adjusted Gross Income' (AGI) of less than $75,000. Must be a high school senior who is actively seeking enrollment in a community college or four-year degree program at a college or university in the United States for the current application academic year.
