About the Scholarship

This award is available to U.S. high school juniors and seniors serving as elected student body participants in a selected student government, civic, or educational organization. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a high school junior or senior at time of application. Please note: A student who graduates high school at the close of the fall 2018 semester/quarter is not eligible to apply for the program. Must be currently serving as an elected student body participant in any one of the following student government, civic, or educational organizations: student body president, vice president, secretary or treasurer; student council representative; or student representative elected or selected (selected by a panel, commission or board) to a district, regional, or state-level civic or educational organization. Must be a resident of one of the 50 United States, including the District of Columbia. Must currently be enrolled in a public or private secondary school located in the state (including for these purposes the District of Columbia) in which either one of the student's parents or guardians legally resides. A student attending a school which is located in a state other than the state of legal residence of either one of his/her parents or guardians is not eligible.
