Eligibility Criteria
This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen, national, hold an immigration visa, or classified as a political refugee. Persons holding a temporary or student visa are not eligible. Must be accepted to or enrolled in an eligible program. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher if currently enrolled in and attending a nursing program. Must attend a school of nursing in the State of Virginia which is approved by the State Board of Nursing. Must enroll in a nurse midwife or nurse practitioner program.
