About the Scholarship

This award is available for West Virginia high school seniors who are planning to attend an eligible West Virginia public or private college or university. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and have a composite ACT score of 22 or higher or a combined SAT score of 1020 or higher. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a legal resident of West Virginia. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in both the core courses and in the student's overall grade point average. The core requirements are: English/language arts (four credits), mathematics (three credits), social sciences (four credits), and natural sciences (three credits). Must have a composite ACT score of 22 or higher or a combined SAT score of 1020 or higher. Students must have a minimum ACT sub-score of 20 in all subject areas or a minimum score of 490 on the verbal section and a 480 on the math section of the SAT. Must plan to enroll full time. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must plan to attend an eligible West Virginia public or private college or university. Must be a high school senior at time of application.
