Aviation is a program that teaches the students the relevant set of skills needed during their career which prepares the students to work in the Aviation Industry as a pilot, air traffic controller or any other aviation-related professions. The main objective of this program is to provide theoretical as well practical knowledge to the entry-level aviation enthusiast.

An Accredited Aviation school helps students be a part and enrol for a program which is Federal or state government funded. The organizations that accredit Aviation schools and programs are listed below:

Some of the subjects taught in an aviation school in which a student can enrol in are Aviation Fundamentals, Aviation Safety, Private Plane flying, and Aviation Meteorology.

An Associate’s degree in Aviation can be completed in two years which can help the students to an entry-level career or for a four-year bachelor’s program.

A Bachelor’s degree in Aviation requires 120 credit points. It usually takes 8 semesters to complete a bachelor’s degree.

A Master’s degree in Aviation is usually 30 hours of coursework in a different program, mostly 5 programs, where students learn about managing and conducting research. Master’s degree is only allowed and can be opted by the students who have some experience in the field.

A Doctorates degree in Aviation can take from 3 years to 6 years to complete. The study is research-based as well as hands-on experience.

There are few requirements which need to be fulfilled before one applies for an admission in the aviation program. The student should have a high school diploma with a minimum of 2.0- 3.0 GPA.

With a degree in aviation, an individual can gain skills such as Understanding and Working from Drawings, Navigating Regulations and Safety Requirements, Sheet Metal Fabrication and Repair, Non-Destructive Testing Methods, Electronics and Electrical Repair.
