Aviation is a program that teaches the students the relevant set of skills needed during their career which prepares the students to work in the Aviation Industry as a pilot, air traffic controller or any other aviation-related professions. An Associate’s degree in Aviation can be completed in two years which can help the students to an entry-level career or for a four-year bachelor’s program.
A Bachelor’s degree in Aviation requires 120 credit points. It usually takes 8 semesters to complete a bachelor’s degree.
A Master’s degree in Aviation is usually 30 hours of coursework in a different program, mostly 5 programs, where students learn about managing and conducting research. Master’s degree is only allowed and can be opted by the students who have some experience in the field.
A Doctorates degree in Aviation can take from 3 years to 6 years to complete. The study is research-based as well as hands-on experience.
There are few requirements which need to be fulfilled before one applies for an admission in the aviation program. The student should have a high school diploma with a minimum of 2.0- 3.0 GPA.
With a degree in aviation, an individual can gain skills such as Understanding and Working from Drawings, Navigating Regulations and Safety Requirements, Sheet Metal Fabrication and Repair, Non-Destructive Testing Methods, Electronics and Electrical Repair.
